Island Getaway in my PinkBlush Maternity Dress

Hello loves!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far!

If you follow me on Instagram (@thebeautyintypeone) then you know my husband and I went on a quick getaway to Florida this past weekend. We flew down to Fort Myers on Friday night and took a friends boat over to Captiva Island on Saturday am. Truth be told, our 2nd flight on Friday night was so delayed we ended up staying the night in Baltimore and waking up early Saturday am for a 6am flight instead of arriving at like 2am because of all the delays. I did nottt want to wake up that morning but honestly, I’m so glad we got to go on this trip. Even though it was such a whirlwind and so quick, it was honestly so nice. I had never really heard of Captiva but once we got there it felt like (what I imagine since I’ve never actually been) the Bahamas. We stayed at the South Seas Island Resort and it was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in like a 3 bedroom condo with some friends and our room overlooked the ocean, it was breathtaking and so worth the loss of sleep to get there even though we only got to stay one night. I hope someday we can take our baby back there – it seemed like a very kid friendly resort as well!

Anyway, I wanted to share this dress from PinkBlush with you all. They sent me this beautiful dress and I thought it would be perfect to take on our last minute vaca. I’m not usually a floral print kinda gal but for some reason I was drawn to this. It was so comfy and a perfect mama to be dress – not too short but not so long that I felt like it didn’t still look cute (you feel me?). Even though my bump isn’t too too big quite yet, except for maybe after I had a vanilla milkshake after dinner 🤰🏼, I know this is going to fit nicely with my growing bump for those upcoming spring and summer months here in New England.

I definitely want to try out more of their pieces and order some on my own! I was very impressed with the quality and comfort of this piece while of course still looking cute! I ordered my regular size medium and it fit perfectly. They also are pretty reasonable priced in my opinion. Again, this dress was gifted to me but it retails for $52 which isn’t too bad for a nice dress. If any of my fellow mamas-to-be are looking for some cute bump pieces, be sure and head over to their site here! They also carry non maternity pieces too so actually everyone can find something!

If you all want to see more #bumpstyle posts be sure and let me know. This summer I’d love to share more fashion/style posts of cute maternity pieces I find! Anyway, enjoy the rest of your week – I know I’ll be daydreaming of being back on Captiva Island with my honey, relaxing in this cute dress! 😋
